It doesn’t look like I’ll be finding June’s blog entries… and you know what? That’s okay. I’m moving on and pushing forward. Losing a few random posts is definitely not the end of the world, nor something I’ve never dealt with before.
I’m feeling significantly better today. Still a bit queasy and off, but oh so healthy and alive. Is it weird that I’m often grateful for illness? Because once I recover and feel better, I find I have so much more gratitude for my life and health. I wrote an entry a few weeks ago (yes, it’s one of the lost blogs) about my numerous blood disorders, and I remember I had such difficulty writing it. I felt like I was complaining. I was sure I sounded selfish… because truly, I’m blessed.
I have a body that can walk (and sometimes run!), lift, stretch, and breathe. My body does so much work for me. It never gives up, never lets me down. Sure, it has its flaws… but look at me, I’m still alive. I guess after a week of being confined to my bed, I’m feeling grateful today.

Anyway, a good friend of mine is flying in from Canada tomorrow (well, technically Utah, but whatever). I haven’t seen Dalia since last March, so I’m beyond thrilled for her visit. It’s funny. She saw my temporary home of the Bay Area and now she’ll be seeing my childhood home of Orange County.
While I’m definitely not as proud as Southern CA as I am of Northern CA, I’m still excited to share it with her. It’ll also be fun to bring a Canadian along for my Independence Day celebrations!
Have a beautiful day everyone!
Thankful Thursday yay!
I never really thought of that before. Being thankful for my body? I guess you’re right.
Have a Happy 4th of July!

Thats great!
Then again, Id rather have been in Canada yesterday
for Canada Day than July 4th.
Does that make me a bad American? possibly(=

That’s funny you say that, Jess! I was just telling someone else how I’ve always wished I was a Canadian!
I’m with you 100%

That’s probably what you were thinking of. I think I should see the 2nd one and decide for myself how good it is. xP I confuse myself all the time.

I’m glad you’re feeling better
I’ve never experienced July 4th (well, the actual celebrations, the mundane day itself, of course I have!). Canada Day is a lot more low key, I think.

Yay for feeling better and it’s nice your friend is coming. Meeting/seeing someone we haven’t seen for ages is nice

Just a random stranger passing through. :3 I think I shall lurk here. >_>

But you shouldn’t feel so guilty if you want to speak ((type)) about your health problems online! It’s your site, which means you can write about whatever you want to write about … And if someone doesn’t like it, they can simply fuck off! ((Or, you can tell them I said to fuck off, in case you don’t want to be rude. I don’t mind.
))
But I know what you mean, about feeling so much better mentally after feeling so sick physically … With me, though, there’s always the underlying nervousness that I’m going to get sick again when I’m least expecting it, which kind of ruins everything, haha. :/ Unfortunately, I’m a very pessimistic person … So megalolz there. XD;
And hey, hope you’re having fun today — It’s my little brother’s 11th birthday today, so even though I’m Canadian like your friend, my family and I still celebrate the 4th of July, in a way! x3; I can’t wait to post about the special cupcakes I made for him — Not that I actually ate any, but they looked SO FREAKING COOL. O_O; I took about a million pictures, aaaahhh. x3;
